We are committed to respecting the privacy rights of all visitors/users to the Website. Your privacy is important to us and we aim for our Website to be a safe and enjoyable environment for our audience. We respect and safeguard the personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) and any proprietary or confidential information (“Confidential Information”) we may receive and collect from you on our Website and in the course of our other interactions online.

Please note that this Privacy Policy is only applicable to the users of the Website and the information and data gathered on the Website and not to any other information or website. Information Gathered

In general, you can visit our website without revealing your identity or any Personal Information about yourself. While making submissions in the form of, but not limited to, article(s), collaboration proposals, event registrations, internship applications, queries through the Website or for the purpose of grievance redressal as provided in the Terms of Use, you will be required to provide details (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) such as, your name, age, email address and phone number. We do not collect any more Personal Information than what is necessary to provide you with access to our Website. Information that we collect from you will vary depending upon the activity you seek to engage in.

The SLPC does not collect any Sensitive Personal Information (“SPI”) on the Website. SPI means personal information such as your password; physical, physiological and mental health condition; medical records and history; biometric Information, sexual orientation and financial information (such as bank account details or credit card numbers).

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors (i.e., any individual below the age of 18) unless it has been indicated to us that their legal guardian has consented to collection of such Personal Information. The level of protection afforded to such Personal Information shall never be less than what is afforded to the Personal Information of adults collected by us.
